When I started working as a Freelancer I had just moved to Berlin and left 10+ years of corporate life behind. I was new in town and had no network. I had to build my business from scratch.
Three years later, I had established myself as a Personal Branding Strategist and China Retail Expert and I had grown the revenue of my business into 6 figures – all while having a good work-life-balance and travelling several weeks a year.
In three years, I went from Zero to 100.000+ Euro Revenue without sending a single sales e-mail, cold call or any other sales measure.
I had grown my business solely on Personal Branding and traditional Networking. And my projects have always found me.
Building your Personal Brand is about establishing and maintaining business relationships by sharing bits and pieces of your experience and know-how, getting people’s attention, connecting to them, and gaining their trust. Once they have you top of their minds as the Go-To-Expert in your field and they are looking for someone with your expertise, they will reach out to you instead of starting to search for someone. Why? Because you have already been there along the way.
With 15 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, and social media, I have worked in agencies, in small and medium-sized companies as well as corporate groups and have been responsible for both internal and external communications. I have a master’s in international information management with a major in intercultural communications.
My passion has always been storytelling. And I have always put a strong focus on people rather than products and companies because people follow people.

I am also the creator of “Gal Talks Tech”, a blogazine featuring interviews with inspiring women in tech or tech-related jobs. In the past 12 months I have interviewed almost 100 women from all over the world. My goal is to create visibility for women in tech and tech-related jobs for other women to get inspired
My own publications, however, do exist as I am the co-author of German non-fiction business book “Digitales China: Basiswissen und Inspirationen für Ihren Geschäftserfolg im Reich der Mitte”, taking my readers to digital China in 12 short episodes. Find my book on Amazon
